18. Justin Doss
Occupation: Fashion Editor, GQ
To find a picture of Justin Doss, just look for the man in a hat at any Fashion Week. Honing his skills down south at Sid Mashburn, Justin headed up north where he began buying for Barneys New York. He built a reputation as one of menswear's young, rising stars and it wasn't before long that GQ came calling. He replaced longtime editor and magazine veteran Lisa Cohen when she retired and is now Creative Director Jim Moore's right-hand man when it comes to tailored clothing. Mr. Doss' greatest sartorial skill is the pure effortlessness with which he wears his clothes. From a simple blue linen sportcoat to an ensemble featuring a variety of styles, no one seems as comfortable in their wardrobe as Mr. Doss. The takeaway? If you're going to wear it, don't just wear it — own it.
