It’s hard to imagine a Nigo-less BAPE. The company—sold last year to Hong Kong fashion conglomerate I.T.—releases the latest Summer 2012 collection. Though NIGO was previously reported to be on board for two years as Creative Director, this might be the last collection where he adds direct input.
Nigo’s signature design approach is clearly distinguishable in this latest collection. The designs feature camo, all-over prints, and patch details, and the collection also includes collaborations with Sunpocket, Dr. Martens, and Island Slipper.
