Childhood and humor form the base for Yoskay Yamamoto's latest works, which make up the new exhibition Jokes On Me opening next weekend in Los Angeles. It is a mix of fun nostalgia and dark comment on social issues. Most important, this is the first exhibition where the artist has focused on just sculpture. A range of mediums is presented, from clay to plaster, but in each the central themes remain consistent.
Jokes On Me opens on March 24 and runs through April 21, 2012.
