Sunday marked the official start of British Summer Time, a record breaking day not only in regards to the weather, but also for art + design. The temperature reached 68F and welcomed crowds to the coast of Bournemouth beach in Dorset, England, where spectators eagerly awaited the erection of "The Worlds's Largest Deckchair" (Pause). Created by Stuart Murdoch, this massive sculpture is taller than a double-decker bus and weighs more than an elephant. Hit the thumbs to check out this record breaking piece. [LikeCool]
