Born in Flint, Michigan, artist Ken Keirns now lives in Northern California. His work, primarily in oil paint, revolves around women with big heads and monkeys. Within these subjects Keirns weaves personal experiences and sometimes bad puns. The paintings are always fascinating.
Keirns' latest exhibition, Quietly, opens today and remains on view through April 1, 2012.
