Last month, Yankees player Alex Rodriguez went on a shopping spree at Blue & Cream, and dropped $17,000 on gifts for his girlfriend and niece. Yes, $17,000. Apparently, his niece's mom wasn't too happy about A-Rod spoiling her daughter with designer dresses and shoes and demanded that it all be taken back.
Unfortunately, Blue & Cream has a no returns policy. So what did the baseball player do? Naturally, he tried disputing the charges that were put on his credit card. But the store's not having it. "It's ridiculous," a store rep said, "Completely ridiculous. We have We have security tapes and coverage of him at the checkout counter. We're completely not in the wrong."
