There has been a reported spike in cigarette and champagne sales around Lincoln Center, where most of the New York Fashion Week shows take place. According to one bodega near the action, it's had a significant increase in cigarette sales. It makes sense, considering all the stress everyone involved in fashion week must be under.

Restaurants in the area are seeing spikes of their own. Ed's Chowder House is reporting that there's an increased demand for champagne. Smoking and sipping on some bubbly? The fashion life doesn't sound so bad. [Racked]
