Photographer Stefan Furtbauer's "Eiterquellen" is an ongoing investigation of Viennese fast food culture. These have an interesting, vernacular architecture all their own. Small in scale, the Viennese Diner has been around since 1870, adapting occasionally with the times but mostly fulfilling the same simple function as the original stands. Furtbauer is fascinated by how contemporary Diners take to global food trends, establishing themselves against their surroundings but not always highlighting their own tradition and heritage.
