Looks like things aren't going too well over at the Gilt Groupe camp. According to reports, the popular flash sales site laid off more than a hundred people this past Friday, despite claims of only trimming the staff by 50 people over the next couple of months. Of those laid off might include John Auerbach, who headed the men's division and led the launch of the full-price Park and Bondsite. Also rumoured to have been canned is Nate Richardson, who headed Gilt City. No word yet from CEO Kevin Ryan on the current state of the site but more details are sure to come.
