Released yesterday, and marking the winter solstice, Thomas Hooper's Winter Solstice (Black Mandalas Series:1) print suite is the first product offering from ARTIFACT Publishing. Hooper, born in Hastings, East Sussex, studied drawing at The London Institute of Art & Design, before moving to New York to pursue a career in tattooing. His signature mandalas are produced here in a group of 28 individual prints, separated in groups of 7, and housed in a hand stained, hand sanded wooden box. Each of the 100 available boxes are signed and hand numbered. They run $100. A top choice for a tattoo related gift.
