When they first started poppin up, "green" brands were all the rage: good for the environment while allowing you to get away with looking semi-dirtbag-ish. Then the tech got a little better, and the term became generic, resulting in the originators refocusing things and toning down the overt activism. Now, you can get stuff that is good for the world without looking like a hippie. Yay trends. Keep it moving.
