Known for his jazz album covers, James Flora has pent sixteen years mixing humor and violence in outlandish drawings. During that time, he also wrote sixteen children's and provided illustrations for countless magazines. From November 19, 2011, New York's Dorian Grey Gallery will celebrate Flora's storied career though The Curiously Sinister Art of Jim Flora. The work begins in the late 1940s and stretches into the late 1990s.
The exhibition will run through January 8, 2012.
