When the photo club of EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne) called for entries to create an exhibition on the uses and the life inside the Rolex Learning Center, an architecture student and a chemistry student proposed the RLC's interiors become a winter wonderland for snow sports. The space, they said, with its slopes and spanning whiteness, was perfect as a metaphor for the Swiss mountains in winter. After gathering friends on Facebook, the photo club members had the group bring their ski equipment and suits early in the morning on a weekend in the middle of May to stage and shoot the project. [Arch Daily]
