The desert boot has become a classic and iconic shoe over the years, revamped and done over by almost every designer and brand you can think of. None of these great footwear options would exist if it wasn't for Nathan Clark. The great-grandson of the founder of Clarks, Nathan Clark designed the suede and crepe-soled boot around the time of World War II. At the age of 94, Clark leaves us as a legend for bringing us one of the most popular footwear styles. In commemoration of the Clarks legacy, check out our list of the best Desert Boots for the season. There are great options from brands like TOPMAN and Timberland, but nothing beats the original. We salute you, Nathan Clark, for your service to the world of menswear.
