Ettore Sottsass
Famed Italian architect and designer of the late 20th century Ettore Sottsass worked in various mediums including furniture, jewelry, glass, and lighting. He is probably most remembered for his Olivetti Valentine typewriter design.

It is well publicized that he took a camera wherever he went, even going as far to photographing every hotel room in which he had slept with a woman. At one point he even talked about publishing a book on this subject.

His work has a bit of a renaissance leading up to his passing this year. With exhibitions at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and theDesign Museumin London.

A true pioneer and one of a kind, his energy and process will be missed dearly.

RIP.
