The Portsmouth Museum of Art opened Street a.k.a. Museum, the second portion of a two part exhibition originally shown in L.A. a few weeks back. The cool thing about this exhibit is the city of Portsmouth granted artists Bumblebee, Herakut, Shark Toof, Alexandros Vasmoulakis, and Andreas von Chrzanowski special permission to create murals and pieces across the city's downtown landscape. The show is another bridge between street and fine art, and is worth checking out if you happen to be in the Northeast. Catch all of the action at One Harbour Place in Portsmouth, NH until September 11th, or click the thumbnails above for a taste of this group show. [Arressted Motion]

The city of Portsmouth, NH granted street artists permission to put up work all over the downtown landscape as part of a group show. Pretty cool.
