Cuban born artist Alexandre Arrechea created this 20-foot steel sculpture, a combination basketball hoop/orange tree. Basketballs lay across the underneath a hoop with multiple rims, meant to signify the role of street sports in urban culture. You can see the sculpture on display at the Bronx Museum until June 6th in NYC. [Art News Mag, Bronx Museum]
