Man made waves have been around for almost 20 years now, but all attempts at perfecting the concept have been based around the idea of the standing wave: water is usually projected up and over a bottom of some kind, and it's loud, fast, and obnoxious. We just came across this video of Wave-Garden, a new approach to the concept that mimics actual waves in the ocean. The technology is still new, and the waves are small, but we're psyched to see what becomes of this. Another reason for us to come up with a solid $10MM idea in the next few years so we can actually buy all of this cool stuff. [wave-garden.com]
