As you know, South By Southwest takes place in Austin, Texas, every year to showcase up-and-coming musical acts and indie films. For the first time in 25 years, however, SXSW will include a brand-spanking-new platform for style. Music and style have enjoyed a gloriously incestuous relationship throughout history, but Style X (pronounced "Style By") is the very first event of its kind to bring emerging fashion brands (think Good Wood and watch company Tikkr) to the Austin festival.
