STORE:Commonwealth

CITY: Washington D.C.

SINCE: 2007

FOUNDED BY: Larry Incognito and Omar Quiambao

BRANDS CARRIED: Commonwealth, APC, Maiden Noir, Stone Island, Garbstore, Folk Clothing, Play By CDG, Stussy Deluxe, Clarks, Clae, and much more.

WHY WE CO-SIGN: Since they opened the doors of their original location in Norfolk, VA, Commonwealth has been synonymous with staying fresh and ahead. That's all thanks to founders Larry Incognito and Omar Quiambao having extremely discerning tastes when it comes to what they stock and who they collaborate with. They've have worked tirelessly not only just to fulfill the demand for street, fashion, and sportswear brands but to create it, building what has become one of the premier peddlers of premium goods. So it was only a matter of time before they expanded their business.

Their new Washington DC brick and mortar spot carries on tradition with a expertly chosen collection of sneakers, denim, t-shirts, jackets and even candles for your crib. Browse their selection and you'll see a carefully curated collection of wares. Yeah, you'll find most of your favorite brands, but only the dopest pieces they provide. Their collab's are just as carefully put together. Many people know them for their work with Reebok on the aforementioned Pump, but they've also killed it with products made with Oakley and Maiden Noir. That's why they're able to boast about a client list that includes guys like Wale (who they did a exclusive t-shirt with), Bun B and the Clipse (who they also did a t-shirt with). Their tagline may read "for the greater good", but this shop is nothing short of great.
