BRAND: Norsea Industries

SINCE: 2008

HOMEBASE: Yorkshire, England

FOUNDED BY: Stephen Banks

WHY WE COSIGN: Careful readers of our fashion credits may have noticed the recurring presence of a new brand name: Norsea Industries. Inspired by fisherman work wear and sportswear from the '50s and '60s, the U.K. import uses local Yorkshire corduroy, waxed cottons, tweed and moleskin to create comfortable, quality pieces that are never mass-produced. Its tees, sweatshirts and jackets are made of 100% organic cotton and fleece. Also, be sure to check out Norsea's dope collection of nautical-inspired jewelry.

Although Norsea only launched last year, founder Banks is no rookie to fashion; he previously did design consulting for Paul Smith, The Duffer of St. George, Ben Sherman and Nike Europe and Nike Asia.

WHAT'S NEXT: Currently working on 2010 project with the local Yorkshire artist and engraver Mel Whittaker

WHERE TO FIND IT: norseaindustries.com. The collection will be available in the fall at Opening Ceremony.
