What city/country has the best style?
Hard to say. In every city there are always those with amazing style, although I will say that New York definitely trumps Los Angeles.

Who has wack style?
Middle-aged American moms. Khaki capris with pastel shirts and trainers.

What trend do you want to see die?
Trends never die, they just hibernate. A non-stylistic trend I'd like to see die is Twitter. All you find out through twittering is how utterly mundane your friends are.

Last clothing item you purchased?
White canvas shoes from Muji.

Vote on whether this week's subject is "Stylin" or "Wildin" below...

Most money you ever spent on a single item of clothing?
Not more than $300. Up past that, you start getting into names, status, and popularity. Not really my thing. But I think I bought a pair of shoes for something like $295.

What is your favorite brand?
BagsforthePeople.org. Sustainable alternatives to plastic bags.

What is your dream job?
I'm kinda doing it with Bags for the People. I make bags, search for cool fabric, talk to random people, and lead workshops with all sorts of people within the community.

Who is your dream date?
I am dorkas. She's gorgeous! Either her or Oprah Winfrey.

Last book read?
Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass, An American Slave.

What is your trend proof style advice for our readers?
Make sure you are comfortable. Not Croc or Ugg comfortable, that's just lazy, but comfortable in a sort of mental and physical balance. If you feel good then style won't matter.
