Things to keep in mind when going in on earphones..
1. Look for durable materials like metal or composites at fasten points. Avoid pads made of crappy synthetic material; they’re uncomfortable and make your head sweat.
2. Driver size refers to the size of the internal speaker. The larger the driver, the better your ’phones will reproduce a range of frequencies. For in-ear, 10-15mm drivers are solid; for over-the-ear, look for 40mm and up.
3. Noise-Canceling headphones create reverse sound waves to drown distractions; “Sound-Isolating” is a fancy term for “blocks your ear canal so all you hear is music.”
