Russell Wilson is on pace to end up in the Hall of Fame. In 2015, he became the first quarterback in NFL history to tally more than 4,000 passing yards, 30 passing touchdowns, and 500 rushing yards in a season.
And, unlike many others on the list, Wilson has delivered in the Super Bowl. Granted, he had a dominant defensive performance behind him, but Wilson still threw for 208 yards and two touchdowns to become the second black starting quarterback to win a Super Bowl. He’s a guy who could ultimately assume the throne as the best black quarterback, but in a strange role reversal, he's a QB who has largely lived in the shadow of the defense—Seattle's famed Legion of Boom (RIP).
