USA Won't Be Playing Spain in the FIBA Final, Thanks to France
France shocks the FIBA world by upsetting Spain.

So much for that epic U.S. vs. Spain FIBA World Cup final.
In an upset nobody in their right mind saw coming, France took out Spain in Madrid in the quarterfinals. And France didn't even have Joakim Noah or Tony Parker on the court. Instead, Boris Diaw, whose flourish was on display for the San Antonio Spurs during the NBA Finals, dropped in 15 points on 6/12 shooting and added five rebounds and three assists. Centers Joffrey Lauvergne and Rudy Gobert locked down the boards throughout the game with a combined 23 rebounds, all of which were needed during a game that the Spain squad shot just 32.3 percent. Take Pau Gasol, who shot 7/12, out of that equation, and that number drops to 26 percent.
France faces Serbia next, and the winner of that game will face the winner of the U.S and Lithuania game. Could the red, white, and blue be similarly upset?
