The "Drake Curse" might have lifted recently when the Toronto Raptors won their first NBA championship earlier this year, but people are still obsessing over it thanks to Drake himself.

In advance of the ninth annual OVO Fest in Toronto, Drake surprised fans on Friday with the release of Care Package, a collection of standalone tracks that were never officially released. Included in the compilation album is the 2014 song “Draft Day,” which makes mention of Johnny Manziel—who was selected by the Cleveland Browns in that year’s NFL draft—and Andrew Wiggins, the Toronto native who was the top pick in the 2014 NBA draft.

As many Twitter users have pointed out, both promising players turned out to be a bust—and many think “Draft Day” was the beginning of the "Drake Curse." Earlier this year, Manziel was released by the Canadian Football League’s Montreal Alouettes and the league reportedly won’t let any other pro team in Canada sign him. Wiggins has had his own drama with the Timberwolves, as he's failed to live up to lofty expectations.

Fans took to Twitter on Friday, and let both Manziel and Wiggins have it thanks to the "Draft Day" re-release.

Shame what happened to Manziel & Wiggins but they’ll always have “Draft Day”
