Following Team USA's 112-86 victory over Puerto Rico in an exhibition game at Madison Square Garden last night, managing director Jerry Colangelo announced the final 12-man roster which will compete in the 2014 FIBA World Cup starting on Aug. 30 in Spain. Here it is:

Guard

Stephen Curry

DeMar DeRozan

James Harden

Kyrie Irving

Derrick Rose

Klay Thompson

Forward

Anthony Davis

Kenneth Faried

Rudy Gay

Mason Plumlee

Center

DeMarcus Cousins

Andre Drummond

The final four players cut from the team were Kyle Korver, Gordon HaywardChandler Parsons and the most discussed one of them all, Damian Lillard. Since the announcement, some folks on Twitter haven't taken the news of Colangelo dumping Lillard from the squad too well.
