Take a trip down memory lane as we share a crazy moment at the podium, an amazing posterization, an absolute on-court fail or a memorable shooting performance from the postseason of the National Basketball Association in This Day in NBA Playoffs History.

Following the San Antonio Spurs' 1999 championship run, Sean Elliott left the game of basketball on a high note after announcing that he was unfortunately playing through focal glomerular sclerosis. And no higher note came than his incredible game-winning shot against the Portland Trail Blazers in the waning moments of Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals. With the Spurs down by one and only 12 seconds remaining, Elliott managed to not keep his toes inbounds after Stacey Augmon nearly came away with a steal. With just his heels hovering over the out-of-bounds line, Elliott shot a 21-foot jumper over the outstretched arms of Rasheed Wallace. And just like that, the "Memorial Day Miracle" was born.
