In less than an hour, Petra Kvitova made quick work of her opponent Eugenie Bouchard, who was competing in her first major title, in the 2014 Wimbledon final. When it was all said and done, Kvitova defeated Bouchard, 6-3, 6-0, which gave the 23-year-old Czech player her second career title, putting her alongside other females with multiple Wimbledon victories since 1982, such as Steffi Graf, Martina Navratilova, Venus Williams and Serena Williams.
If you're looking for one prime example of how dominant Kvitova was today, look no further than the fact that she won the final seven straight games and took the second set in a clean 28 minutes.
As for Bouchard, the 20-year-old has plenty to be proud of, including the title of being the first Canadian to reach a Grand Slam final.
