Cristiano Ronaldo definitely clobbers Atletico Madrid's Deigo Godin in this video from yesterday' game. That much is sure. What's up for interpretation is whether Ronaldo did it on purpose. Everything goes so fast it's hard to tell. When slowed down, though, it looks pretty malicious.
Ronaldo was only given a yellow card for the blow, but there's certainly still time for him to receive harsher punishment. Whether that happens or not you better believe Atletico and Godin aren't going to forget about it before playing Real Madrid again Sept. 13.
