Gustavo Angel Tamayo has never played competitive basketball in his life. However, on Monday night, that inexperience didn't stop the Bryan College senior from sinking four shots in a row, including a miraculous, buzzer-beating half-court heave, to win $10K.
According to the Chattanooga Times Free Press, Tamayo is a soccer player who doesn't even take throw-ins during his matches, which you can more or less glean from how awkwardly he throws up his first lay-up. Basically, this guy stumbled onto a basketball court, and somehow got luckier than any of us could ever hope to be in our lives. As a result, he's pocketing $10K, an amount which Tamayo apparently doesn't even need. The Free Press notes that Tamayo's tuition is already paid off.
This dude is about to have the best senior year out of anyone on campus. Enjoy it, Gustavo.
