LaVar Ball’s Ridiculous Claims Spawn Hilarious #LaVarBallSays Hashtag

LaVar Ball's (most) recent absurd claims have spawned a hashtag of things he might say that are just slightly more over the top than things he has said.

LaVar Ball, the father of LaMelo, LiAngelo, and Lonzo Ball, has certainly made the most of his time with a microphone in his face this season, as he's said increasingly ridiculous shit over the course of the year. One can only wonder how he'll top his most recent take, which is that he would've "killed" Michael Jordan in a game of one-on-one if they had played when they were both in their primes.

"I would just back [Jordan] in and lift him off the ground and call a foul every time he fouls me when I do a jump hook to the right or the left," he said in aUSA TODAY interview. "He cannot stop me one-on-one. He better make every shot ’cause he can’t go around me. He’s not fast enough. And he can only make so many shots outside before I make every bucket under the rim.’"

Technically we can't prove him wrong. But, uh, let's just say we have our doubts.

Of course, such a declaration was going to be scrutinized (it even overshadowed the part where he said he was looking for a billion dollar endorsement deal from either Nike, Adidas, or Under Armour for his three sons). Not surprisingly, some people with Twitter accounts took notice and subsequently mocked him with a hashtag of #LaVarBallSays, which included (for now) jokes that could possibly be said by him at some point in the future:

Odds are in a few months, as the draft creeps closer and closer, these won't seem like parody.
