It turns out that Kyrie Irving wasn't kidding when he hinted at an Uncle Drew movie over a year ago.

On Wednesday, the trailer for the upcoming flick was released, and though I concede that almost everybody has been tricked by a well-made trailer for an awful movie at some point in their lives, it looks pretty good—especially for a character whose origins are rooted in a Pepsi ad campaign .

As you can see, the movie is about the titular character rounding up a team of old-timers for a tournament in Rucker Park. That team's made up of some variation of Shaquille O'Neal, Chris Webber, Nate Robinson, and Reggie Miller.

Uncle Drew also got Lisa Leslie, Tiffany Haddish, Erica Ash, Lil Rey Howery, and Nick Kroll involved. This could be something worth checking out when it hits theaters on June 29.
