The woeful days of the New York Knicks may be coming to an end after it was reported that the franchise is a favorite to land NBA superstar, Kevin Durant

According to The Athletic, an anonymous agent thinks that the Golden State Warriors star is leaning towards switching coasts in hopes of a massive payday. The Knicks are reportedly "all in" on landing KD, according to various league execs.

But despite the reports, Durant refuses to add fuel to the fire while he pursues a third straight championship with the Warriors. KD has been asked about where he might go once he hits free agency on multiple occasions, but like any old pro, he's become very good at deflecting.

The issue of Durant's impending free agency reached a boiling point earlier in the season after he got into it with teammate Draymond Green. Green reportedly questioned Durant's loyalty to the team, which led to a giant rift between the two stars. But that was then. In the last few weeks, the Warriors have once again been rolling, with Durant leading the way.

Nothing cures all ills like winning, and if Durant does end up three-peating with the Warriors, it might be impossible to lure him away from the Bay. That being said, with the Knicks on the come up, and Zion Williamson on a collision course with the city, MSG is on the verge of once again becoming one of the sexiest destinations in the NBA.
