It looks like the apple doesn't fall too far from the tree. Despite having a fractured relationship, it's clear that Money Mayweather gets his confidence from his father.

While walking through the Beverly Wilshire Hotel over the weekend, TMZ caught up with Floyd Mayweather, Sr, which served as the perfect opportunity for 66-year-old to go at Conor McGregor, who allegedly punched a 50-year-old man at a Dublin pub in April.

"I would beat the sh*t out of Conor right now," Mayweather, Sr. said when what he would do if McGregor tried to fight him. "I'm double his age and I'd whoop his ass." Floyd, Sr. proved how serious he was by throwing a couple of combos at the air just to show that he's still got it.

It's doubtful that Floyd Sr. will have to worry about Conor's striking ability, but his son might. Although their 2017 bout was less than eventful, the fight was a major payday for both fighters. Naturally, there have been talks of a possible Mayweather/McGregor rematch. Until then, Mayweather might have another highly anticipated rematch on his plate. Manny Pacquiao has been lobbying to fight Floyd, who's been playing hard to get. When asked if his son would step into the ring with Pacquiao, Floyd, Sr. seemed confident that it would happen.

"I'm pretty sure that they're going to fight," Mayweather, Sr. said before telling the reporter not to "worry" about his son claiming otherwise.
