Antonio Brown has had an accelerated fall from grace. Many claim that his off-field antics—mainly his open desire to be traded from Pittsburgh—are grabbing the focus of the locker room. Brown, however, says that the idea he's a "distraction" is a myth.

"That's the narrative they try to create once you doing your own thing," Brown told LeBron James on the latest episode of HBO's The Shop. "'Yo, this guy a distraction. He this type of guy.' All I've ever been was a guy who came from Central Michigan, sixth round who worked his ass off."

Brown's comments come as he is making a not-so-subtle push to be moved from the Pittsburgh Steelers. This has led people close to the franchise to promote the narrative that AB is a divisive locker room figure to counter the wide receiver's actions. These tactics aren't limited to the NFL. Similar to AB, Anthony Davis encountered backlash when he tried to control his destiny by requesting to be traded from the New Orleans Pelicans—which is a connection James drew during this discussion.

"It's the same thing that's happening with AD right now," LeBron began. "Seven years in the league and no one has said anything...not nobody has ever said anything negative about AD. But you tell when the narrative change when you don't do what they want you to do."

The upcoming episode of HBO's The Shop will drop on Friday at 10:30 and will feature Antonio Brown, Anthony Davis, Jamie Foxx, 2 Chainz and more.
