A little tip: If you're going to drive around with weed, LSD, and Ecstasy in your trunk (we don't recommend it), MAKE SURE YOUR TRUNK IS CLOSED!
A group of teenagers from Delmont, Pa. learned that lesson the hard way recently when they drove by the Delmont police station with their trunk wide open. A police officer saw them, pulled them over to tell them that their trunk was open, and likely would have sent them on their way once they closed it. But when he approached the car, he noticed a case of beer in the trunk and, upon further investigation, stumbled upon a ton of different drugs. The officer also noticed "a strong smell of marijuana" wafting from inside of the car. In total, he recovered 80 grams of marijuana, 32 grams of hashish tar, 10 Ecstasy tablets, LSD, two bottles of "eye drop" narcotics, and a bunch of other drug paraphernalia.
For now, the 19-year-old driver of the car is the only person who has criminal charges pending against him. But if you ask us, every single person who was in that car should be thrown in jail. If you're not smart enough to close your trunk when you're transporting all of those drugs, then you deserve to do some time. Case closed.
