A lot of people think the Warriors have a really good chance to make a run to the 2015 NBA Finals. Charles Barkley isn't one of them. The TNT analyst thinks Golden State is too reliant on their ability to shoot jumpers, so he believes they're going to end up getting bounced from the postseason earlier than people are expecting.
Despite this, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr isn't upset with Barkley right now. In fact, he couldn't be happier with the guy. Because according to Kerr, Barkley has bought him so many beers over the years that it'd be impossible for Kerr to get angry with him.
"I love Charles. I worked with him for eight years," says Kerr, who worked as an analyst and commentator for TNT before getting into coaching. "He's incredible at what he does. He's hilarious. He picks up every bar tab when you're on the road; 28 people from TNT at the bar, and he picks up the tab. He bought me so many beers over the years that whatever Charles wants to say about our team, I have no problem with."
Say what you want about Barkley's skills as an NBA analyst. But as a drinking buddy, he sounds like he's the G.O.A.T.
