Very early yesterday morning, Radar Onlineposted an interview with a 19-year-old woman named Erica Mendez who claimed to be the fiancée of New York Giants rookie Odell Beckham Jr. And during the interview, she made some really scandalous claims. For instance, she talked about how the former LSU wide receiver once bought her a BMW while also talking about the time that she walked in on him having a threesome with two strippers. Additionally, she said that the two broke up for a short period of time after he got another girl pregnant during college but also said that she is now engaged to Beckham Jr. and working hard at making their relationship work.
However, Beckham Jr. also talked to Radar Online and said that none of what the woman said was true. None of it. Not the part about the car. Not the part about the threesome. And in fact, he even said that he doesn't even know who Erica Mendez is.
"The entire story is fabricated," he said. "I have never been engaged. I don't have any children. And I have never met this person who is making these claims."
Beckham Jr. also took to Twitter to address the issue:
And it doesn't sound like he's stopping there. In addition to shooting down the stories that the woman told Radar Online, Beckham Jr. and his father have also hired a private investigator to get to the bottom of the situation, and the Giants have also stepped in and talked to the NFL about investigating whether or not the woman who spoke with Radar Online is trying to pull some sort of scam on Beckham Jr.
The woman that Radar Online spoke to has not responded to their requests to speak again in light of the response that Beckham Jr. provided to her stories. But we can pretty much guarantee that this is not the last that we'll hear about her or this story.
