Dwyane Wade is a great athlete. He hasn't gotten the chance to prove that much over the course of the last couple of years due to a number of injuries. But in his prime, D-Wade was one of the better athletes in the NBA.
At the youth sports camp that Wade held with Brandon Marshall last week, he showed off his supreme athleticism by making an excellent one-handed grab after running a route and catching a football thrown by Marshall. It might not seem like much, seeing as how the pass wasn't thrown more than 10 or 15 yards. But it's not easy to make a one-handed catch like this. And it's definitely not easy to do it when the pass is thrown between two stacks of pizza boxes made to look like a set of goalposts!
"I'm not saying I could play in the NFL," Wade wrote on Instagram. "I'm just saying the boy wasn't bad in his day."
