Is DeAndre Yedlin having a great summer or what?

Earlier this summer, Yedlin—who is only 21—played a key role in the success of the U.S. Men's National Team during the 2014 World Cup. The defender was able to keep Cristiano Ronaldo in check for the most part during the USMNT's 2-2 draw against Portugal. During the knockout stage of the tournament, he also played for almost 90 minutes during the USMNT's loss to Belgium. And partially as a result of those things, it sounds like he's going to be playing in the Premier League by next year.

A short time ago, Tottenham Hotspur announced that they have reached an agreement with Yedlin on a four-year, $4 million deal that will see him leave the Seattle Sounders prior to the 2015-16 Premier League season:

Yedlin will remain with the Sounders for now and play out the remainder of the current MLS season. But once he's done doing that, he's now going to be taking his talents international and joining the Spurs.
