Chicago sports talk radio hosts Matt Spiegel and Dan Bernstein aren't big fans of Aiyana Cristal, an anchor/reporter for Comcast SportsNet who does sideline reporting for the Bulls and also covers other Chicago-based sports teams. And that's fine. They're entitled to their opinions. But last night, Spiegel sent out a tweet criticizing Cristal:
And Bernstein responded with a critical tweet of his own. But while Spiegel focused on Cristal's actual skills as a reporter, Bernstein took things in a much different direction:

It was obviously a very unprofessional response from Bernstein, and it led to an incredibly uncomfortable exchange between the two radio hosts, who are, in essence, colleagues of Cristal. Twitter user @RegressedPDO took screenshots of all of their tweets and put them together in one tweet that shows their entire conversation:
Quite a few Twitter users were obviously not amused by the interaction between the two men:
So Spiegel has already apologized for his role in the Twitter exchange:
Bernstein is yet to comment on it or issue an apology. But judging by the response he's received, we would expect one soon. Stay tuned to see if any disciplinary action is taken against him and/or Spiegel.
UPDATE:
It doesn't sound like Bernstein is going to be suspended for what he did:
