Steve Watts suffered a severe injury during an MMA fight in April of 2014, and he's been paralyzed from the neck down ever since.

Ronda Rousey recently learned of Watt's story, and reached out with a heartfelt message for him that Watts later posted to Facebook.

"Hi, Steve. My name’s Ronda," Rousey said. "I stumbled across your story. A friend of mine sent it to me, and I just wanted to wish you the best possible luck on your recovery. I can’t possibly understand everything that you’re going through, but if I’ve ever learned anything, it’s that being in pursuit of a near impossible goal is one of the most rewarding endeavors that you can ever embark on. I really hope that you see and seek all of the possible rewards that you can reap from all of this.

"I admire all of the hard work that you've been doing and I hope that you keep all of the faith that I also have, that it's all going to be for a purpose and a reason. And your work isn't for nothing, it's going to pay off."

Watts posted a response, which you can see in the clip above, and it was clear that he was extremely appreciative of Rousey's effort to provide a very sincere level of emotional support.
