JuJu Smith-Schuster was a pleasant surprise for the Pittsburgh Steelers this year. The 21-year-old former USC Trojan, whom the Steelers drafted late in the second round of the 2017 draft, was a crucial part of the Steelers' explosive offense. The young star amassed 58 receptions, 917 yards, and seven touchdowns. Pittsburgh fans are excited—he looks like the heir apparent to the great Antonio Brown in Pittsburgh.

Smith-Schuster also became a bit of a celebrity this year—partly because of his strong play on the field for an AFC contender, and partly because of his hilarious and eccentric personality. In October, his bike got stolen, and his quest to recover it became a national story. So, JuJu learned early in his rookie year the power that Twitter holds.

He attempted to harness that power on Super Bowl Sunday, as he fired off a tweet at Kendall Jenner, making his heart eyes for the model public knowledge. Smith-Schuster even used a Drake lyric in his tweet, because how could you spit game on social media without including a Drake lyric?

Yo so @KendallJenner we got next right #GodsPlan 🤔

Then JuJu—seemingly laughing at himself—acknowledged the fact that he was indeed shooting his shot.

It appears JuJu was inspired this Super Bowl Sunday to go after what he wants.

This isn't the only reason JuJu made the news on Sunday. He and teammate Le'Veon Bell are also trying to recruit LeBron James to come to the NFL and play for the Steelers.
