Here's one Dez Bryant headline that doesn't pertain to him (possibly, probably, eventually) signing with the Cleveland Browns. Somehow, Bryant ended up in a Twitter battle with one of YouTube's most famous personalities: Jake Paul.
It started when Bryant sent Paul a DM on accident; he intended to send the message to the other famous Paul brother, Logan. Bryant was apparently inspired to send the "I see you bro!!!!" message as he watched the boxing match between Logan and fellow YouTuber KSI (which ended in a draw). Jake responded by roasting Bryant, who is a free agent, and saying the wide receiver "don't want the smoke."
Dez Bryant don’t want the smoke💨 & no team wants Dez Bryant!! GO BROWNS!! pic.twitter.com/4hmhwiE6PB
Bryant had a rational response—why was Jake Paul so salty? But he also made it clear that if Jake wanted to throw the hands, the former Dallas Cowboy was ready to rumble.
Idk why the dude got salty...I thought I was following is brother to tell him congratulations on the fight and I realized it it wasn’t him ... I guess he called himself trying to clown..we can get in the boxing ring tho if he want smoke 💨 😂 https://t.co/N910Li54Td
Bryant, 29, was a first-team All-Pro in 2014. The former first-round pick has since dealt with injuries. He played in 16 games last season, though, and hauled in 69 passes for 838 yards and six touchdowns.
