It looks like Jaguars defensive end Yannick Ngakoue wants out of Jacksonville but the team isn't willing to just let him walk away.

On Monday, Ngakoue tweeted #FREEYANN. He then took aim at Tony Khan—the Jaguars senior vice president of football administration and technology, who also happens to be the son of owner Shad Khan.

It’s a new regime here sir. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of the contributions you made here. That said, tweeting insults at me won’t get you traded any faster. Only good trade compensation will do that. Please redirect your efforts into a more productive outlet

"@TonyKhan stop hiding moe," the Washington, D.C. native tweeted.

This prompted Khan to fire back with some tweets of his own. "I’m not in hiding sir, I’m in isolation getting ready for the draft. I’ve been pretty active on social media in isolation, but you wouldn’t know that since you unfollowed me (again)," Khan wrote.

Show me the compensation. I’m sure you’re really driving up the price today btw.

Khan's response only added fuel to the fire. Ngakoue decided to air out his grievances with the team. According to Ngakoue, he and Khan agreed that the Jags' December game against the Chargers would be his last contest playing for the organization. The plan went awry; when Ngakoue's camp tried to inquire about the situation, their calls weren't returned.

Khan replied to this by stating that the Jags have not received adequate compensation for Ngakoue, which is why he hasn't been moved.

"It’s a new regime here sir. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all of the contributions you made here. That said, tweeting insults at me won’t get you traded any faster. Only good trade compensation will do that. Please redirect your efforts into a more productive outlet," Khan wrote before adding: "Show me the compensation. I’m sure you’re really driving up the price today btw."

The 25-year-old Ngakoue has 37.5 sacks in his four-year career and was a Pro Bowl selection in 2017. He is currently under a franchise tag by the organization.
