Odell Beckham Jr. slammed ESPN for showing footage that painted him in a negative light during the network’s 2020 NFL Draft coverage.
Draft Host Trey Wingo went through a rundown of the New York Giants’ difficulties as an organization, nodding to the fact that the team hasn’t made the playoffs in seven of the last eight seasons. Wingo also failed to mention that before its losing streak, the Giants won the Super Bowl in 2012.
However, OBJ became contentious when ESPN played a video showing the former Giants player's run-in with the kicking net on the sidelines of a game.
He took to Twitter, writing that while there was much to be honored during the draft, ESPN chose to portray him in a negative manner.
