The Best NBA Games of the Week (3/2-3/8)

Date: Friday, March 6

Time: 10:30 ET

How to Watch: ESPN

Where else could we start? The league's two best teams are going at it in a potential NBA Finals preview. We not only get another round of LeBron vs. Giannis, but we also get the Bucks and the Lakers squaring off at full strength. If you remember, in the first matchup back in December, Anthony Davis was a bit banged up with an injury, which surely slowed him down a bit. However, this time around, both teams are at full go and certainly trying to send a message to the other just in case this ends up being the NBA Finals matchup in June. And while the Lakers get a lot more press than the Bucks, Giannis and company are a juggernaut out in Milwaukee, and are currently on pace to win 70 games this season. For a regular season NBA game, it doesn't get much better than this.

How to Watch: ABC

The Lakers and Clippers have already played twice this season, and both games have been pretty freaking awesome. This will be the third installment of the battle of Los Angeles this season, with another contest coming in April, which was rescheduled after the tragic passing of Kobe Bryant. With both the Lakers and Clippers looking to make a deep run in the playoffs, many expect that this will be the likely pairing in the Western Conference Finals. With the Clippers taking the first two matchups against the Lakers this season, you can bet that LeBron James and company will have some extra fire in the tank and be looking to send a message to their Staples Center neighbors. For the Clippers, this game will be all about proving that when needed, they can just flip the switch. Should be another classic.

How to Watch: TNT

Talk about a stacked week of action for the Los Angeles Lakers. Playing the Sixers, Bucks, and Clippers in one week is no small feat, but if anyone can handle it, LeBron James and the Lakers can. For the 76ers, they'll be without Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid for this game, but still have plenty of firepower in tow, especially if newcomer Shake Milton continues to hit every single shot he takes from the floor. The 76ers have been one of the most up and down teams of the season, and this will be a solid opportunity for them to prove themselves on the big stage. Should be a great one in Staples Center.

How to Watch: NBATV

As we said before, the Bucks are a damn juggernaut on the court right now. They're probably the deepest team in the NBA, and are on pace for a 70-win season. The Miami Heat are one of the many surprises in the NBA and are looking to make a deep playoff run after trading for Andre Igoudala and Jae Crowder at the deadline. Of course, the Heat will really only go as far as Jimmy Butler can take them, but they're certainly going to be a tough out in the playoffs. This is yet another test for the Heat, with Giannis and company rolling into town with the best record in the conference. Seeing that this is a potential playoff matchup, it will be fun to see how much each team puts into the gameplan for a regular season game. Should be a fun one in South Beach.

How to Watch: TNT

What a fun week of hoops we have on deck. As we rev up towards the playoffs, this week is filled with games between the top teams in both conferences. In this matchup, we see the Clippers heading to Houston for a huge showdown against Russell Westbrook, James Harden, and the Houston Rockets. Now, if you haven't watched the Rockets lately, you're missing out. They're bringing a new definition to the term "small ball" in the NBA, and it's working. Both Westbrook and Harden are finding their groove together and have the Rockets sitting at the No. 4 seed in the West. On the other side, the Clippers have been one of the best teams in the NBA all season, but consistency has been slowing them down a little bit as of late. We've seen them be able to flip the switch when needed, but that won't be an easy task down in Houston. This should be a high-flying game with a ton of playoff implications.
