Popeyes' spicy chicken sandwich has magical healing properties, at least according to Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson.

Watson threw for 201 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions in Houston's 26-3 win over the Jaguars in London. Although he's expected to beat a struggling Jacksonville team, he saw his way to victory with a bloodshot eye. When asked how he was able to keep his vision clear heading into this week's matchup, Watson gave all the glory to Popeyes.

"I'll tell you the key," Watson said with a smile to NFL Network. "It was them Popeyes spicy chicken sandwiches that I ate this week that helped the eye."

Watson's eye injury came in a spectacular fashion. The quarterback was leading a late-game rally during Week 8's game against the Oakland Raiders. With the Texans down by four and 6:34 remaining in the fourth quarter, Watson scrambled out of a closing pocket and spun out of a sack to deliver a touchdown strike to Darren Fells. Watson did this with one eye as he got kicked in the face while trying to keep the down alive.
