YBN Cordae is pretty hands-off when it comes to helping girlfriend Naomi Osaka prep for a big tennis match, mainly playing the role of the supportive boyfriend.

Osaka is currently competing in the U.S. Open. Before her match on Saturday night against Coco Gauff, Cordae revealed the best way he helps Osaka. “I let her do her thing,” he told TMZ. “Just show love, motivate. But she know what she doing.”

However, he does make sure of one thing: that she’s “in the house early” and “asleep on time.”

Osaka ended up defeating Gauff 6-3 to 6-0 on Saturday, with her next match set for Monday.

News surfaced that Cordae and Osaka might be dating back in April, particularly when the budding rapper appeared in a video on the tennis star’s Instagram. She captioned the clip, "Can't take this guy anywhereeeee lol" and called him "clumsy" in the video. In the comments, Cordae posted numerous kissing emojis. The two subsequently became an item.

Osaka is still ranked the No. 1 player in the world by the Women's Tennis Association. Cordae released his debut solo album The Lost Boy on July 26, which features contributions from Chance the Rapper, Pusha T, Meek Mill, J. Cole, and more.
